RE: 4th of JULY fireworks

It's a holiday weekend. People are celebrating and having fun.
Yes, it is rude and should normally be addressed. But on the 4th of July holiday, New Years, etc., I say let them play.

RE: Digital TV Transition

If you can tune to a channel such as 55.1 or 33-4, etc. then it is a digital tuner.

RE: campground in or around destin

You may not be able to get a spot this late, but one of the best campgrounds in the country is Topsail Hill in Destin.

RE: Directv Internet

Their internet seems to simply be a package deal. It is not through the dish, in fact it is provided Verizon, Embarq, Qwest, Earthlink, or AT&T depending on where you live.

A simple google search will give you more information.

RE: Both tank valves open???

Fulltiming for 5 years and have never left the black valve open. Leave the black valve shut until it is full then let the grey fill up and dump black first then grey.

RE: Augusta, GA

We have stayed at Boss's RV Park in Wrens. They have full hook ups and WI-FI. We found the owners to be very nice. The sites are grass and it is very clean.

RE: Verizon to At&t, should I switch for the iphone 3G

Jailbreaking your iphone voids the warranty, will likely stop you from getting further updates, and may render your iphone useless.

RE: KOA Is it worth the card Price?

We are full timers and have stayed at many KOA's. Some are fantastic and some are not very good at all. The benefit is that they are in many places.

Please note, that you cannot tether the iphone to your laptop.

RE: KOA Is it worth the card Price?

Do the math. If you camp at KOA enough that the discount adds up to more than the cost of the card, then yes, it is worth it.
If not, it is not worth it.

RE: Verizon to At&t, should I switch for the iphone 3G

I have had my iphone for almost a year now and love it. I'm not sure what bugs are worked out, as they will have the same software, the 3G just adds a GPS chip and the 3G radio for faster internet. I have not had a single issue with my iphone in the 11+ months I've owned it, nor has anyone else I know.
We are full-timers and I have been with Verizon for years.
We travel around the country in mostly rural locations and have found that Verizon has better coverage, but not by much.
I added the iphone and AT&T last year and have been very happy with both. I still think that Verizon has better rural coverage, so we kept a Verizon phone as well.

RE: Branson, MO Parking Ticket

You committed a parking violation and got a ticket.
Granted, it was unfortunate. However, you committed a violation and were ticketed. That happens.
